The Spiš Artists Gallery
The gallery describes and presents professional fine arts with a priority focus on the art of the Spiš region. In the last decade the Gallery activities are extending from the regional to a broader national and European space.
In addition to exhibitions, the gallery organizes workshops, special programs for different levels of schools and various workshops about ongoing exhibitions.
The gallery currently has these permanent exhibitions:
Jozef Hanula: Permanent exhibition of drawings and paintings byf Jozef Hanula from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
Terra Gothica / Gothic route from the collections of GUS: An exhibition arranged from the collections of the gallery with a Gothic theme. The exhibition is directly related to the Gothic route and it promotes the main objectives of the program called Terra Incognita. Selected artists represented in the collections capture architectural masterpieces and specifics of the Spiš region in various art styles.
The Garden of Art: Outdoor exhibition of sculptures created during the International Sculpture Symposium Spiš 2002, 2004 and 2006.
