Boating on the Hornád river
The summer season offers boating on the Hornád river in the Slovak Paradise in the part of longest river canyon in Slovakia – Prielom Hornádu.
After years you may again enjoy 11,75 km long waterway in one of the most attractive parts of the national park. Hornád river goes through deep canyon with high steep walls and creates a stretch which is unparalleled with other canyons of neighboring countries. An unforgettable experience in the highest degree of nature preservation is guaranteed.
- Starting point of boating: Hrabušice - Mýto
- Exit point of boating: Čingov - tourist centre, below Ihla cottage
- Date of boating: May 1 - October 31
- Maximum number of vessels per day: 70 one- or two-seater boats (rafting is not allowed)
